Alpena, MI

Needing a safe entrance into the river in Thunder Bay, this light was first built in 1877. After fire destroyed the original wooden structure, a four-legged pyramid skeleton tower was built in 1914 containing a fourth order Fresnel lens. Alpena is home to the annual Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival which draws dedicated lighthouse preservationists who help to maintain and restore Great Lakes historic beacons. Limited Edition of 4,500 pieces. 5” x 5”
