I would like to let you know that I notified my Congressman (Benjamin Gilman) about what Congressman Walter Jones are planning to do. I am not a member of any Lighthouse Group, but, wholeheartedly support the work done by you and other organizations around the world. We just wanted to say "Bravo" on the May article in Lighthouse Digest about the Hendricks Head Lighthouse in Maine ! Being from Kansas, we don't have too many lighthouses around here (ha), but we were lucky to have been vacationing in Maine a couple of years ago on our honeymoon. We saw the Hendricks Head Lighthouse from a shoreline nearby, but since it is on private property the distance and fog obscured a really good view. What a thrill it was to open this month's LH Digest and see a wonderful article and photographs about the history and current owners of this beautiful lighthouse. Keep up the good work !

Your site brought back some happy memories. I worked for the British Lighthouse Service (Trinity House) in the early 50's on Lighthouses and Light Vessels, servicing communications equipment. Attached is a couple of Pics of an Aussie Lighthouse (at Aries Inlet) seen on a recent trip around South Western Victoria. Bye, thanks again..

Dear Lighthouse Depot, I just had to write and thank you for the excellent service you have given me. I realized that I had two birthdays to buy for (my brother and mother) and was at a loss as to what they would like. I ordered two items from Lighthouse Depot (on-line) and was delighted, but also, resigned myself to the fact that they would not be here in time for their birthdays. Dear Lighthouse Depot, My husband and I were visitors to the Lighthouse Depot on 4-17-02 and made a few purchases. We were amazed at the size of the store and merchandise. I have purchased many items from the catalog, but it is better to be in the store. I have to use a wheelchair, and an older man took such wonderful care of me and relieved my husband from this chore. I didn't get his name but he said he is a reverend so I'm sure you know who I mean. He was a jewel and even pushed me out to my car. His boss and one of the partners were in the driveway, I told them how they should hang on to this man. Then he told me it was his first day. It is a very unusual situation that a store would hire help to make customers happy and comfortable. Thank you!! Another person I'd like to mention is Dottie. She helped me with jewelry purchase and a cream colored lighthouse jacket. She was a delight and very sweet. She was extremely helpful. These employees are great assets to you company. I'm glad I met them. Thank you very much.
